P4, The Garden

IPA Productions visited us with the show “The Garden”. We enjoyed with the story of the grasshopper and the ant. 

We had so much fun!!!

P5, Ziggy visited us!!!

On Wednesday boys and girls of P5 enjoyed the show “Ziggy’s spaceship”. The story was about Ziggy, a very friendly alien, and a human astronaut. We sang and learnt vocabulary about the Solar System. 

We had so much fun!!!

P5, Cooperative Task

At school we are doing cooperative tasks. In P5 we made the spider web task.

We had to share something about us and pass the ball of wool. 

We have also worked the rotating paper task. Each group had to draw something about winter and then share the work with the others. 

1r i 2n, Teatre en anglès: Rudolph

Ja arriba el Nadal i a la nostra escola ha vingutt , el Pare Noel i el seu ren en Rudolph.

Han vingut a conèixer a tots els nens i nenes de primer i segon.

Hem après cançons tradicionals, vocabulari relacionat amb el Nadal i hem participat amb molt d’entusiasme.

Ens ho hem passat molt bé.

Ha estat super divertit!!! 

Hallowen

Halloween is a celebration observed in several countries on 31th October.

This year we have celebrated it doing a special handcraft, a mask, a spider and a Jack o’lantern.

 We had fun!!!

TREASURE ISLAND

Last Thursday we had IPA Productions Company at school. They performed Treasure Island for 5^th and 6^th levels children. 

We had a great time singing, dancing and performing with them.

1st A ant B level

3rd and 4th grade, Billy Banjo

On Tuesday, students from 3rd and 4th grade saw the play “Billy Banjo”, performed by

actors from IPA PRODUCTIONS.

Billy Banjo is a musician who dreams about being famous. Kate, his wife, thinks he is lazy
because the only thing he does is playing the banjo all day long.
He leaves home to earn 1000$. He paints Mrs. Posh house, he rounds up some cows and
he plays the electric guitar with Susy Stardust.

Some students took part in the play, and they danced and sang on stage.

They had so much fun!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Boys and girls of Educació Infantil have celebrated Halloween. We made a special handcraft. We enjoyed doing a Jack O'Lantern, a spider and a mask.

HALLOWEEN’S HERE AGAIN!

October 31st, the pumpkin is the queen every year in the night of Halloween.

TOMMY AND THE TALENT THIEF, for the students in 3rd cycle

Last Friday we had the show TOMMY AND THE TALENT THIEF for the students in 3rd cycle. We had a very good time and learnt the secret to have talent for anything we want to, such as dancing, speaking a language, Maths... 

The real secret is PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE!

THE JUNGLE PLAY

We enjoyed very much the performance of The Jungle!!!

We were singing and discovering the animals amongst the trees.

A lion, an elephant, a snake, a giraffe and a very clever crocodile.

THE FARM PLAY IN ENGLISH

Today we meet Farmer Macdonald and all his animals: the cow, the sheep, pigs, duck and the chicken. And all of them wanted to tell their stories in this charming puppet show.

A great mix of stories songs and rhymes engaged all the students!

A DAY AT THE THEATRE

This morning, Little Red came to see us at school. We had a great time with her adventures. Mr. Wolf was not as bad as we expected.

After the break, Dr. Frankenstein was working at the school lab. With the help of some of us he made a monster. This helped him change his attitude towards Elizabeth, his girlfriend.

STORY TELLING WITH SINEAD

We spent a lovely morning listening to an Elmer’s story.

Our language assistant prepared the story and other activities for us. We learnt a lot!

The Superlative

Six graders have invented some dialogues using the superlative. Withe the help of Sinead, our language assistant, they have filmed their dialogues.

Last Wednesday and Thursday, 5th level used a microscope to observe onion cells during our science lesson. We could also compare a traditional microscope with a modern one which was connected to the smart board. 

We had a good time and discovered many things.
